Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that former Gov. Rotimi Amaechi is a failed governor who needs urgent psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
Governor Wike said Former Governor Amaechi is monstrously corrupt, pointing out that after his litigation on his indictment by the judicial Commission of Inquiry, his (Amaechi's) prosecution over the embezzlement of Rivers resources will take place.

rescued three Nigerian citizens who were kidnapped five months ago.
Police said a raid was conducted on a house on a secret information
in Dabgari area on February 27, 2016, during which the kidnapped Nigerian citizens were
recovered. Eight suspects were also arrested during the raid.

Former Delta state governor and one-time Senator of Federal Republic of
Nigeria, Felix Ibru, has died. According to family sources, the late
Ibru died today March 12th after a brief illness. Until his death, he
was the President General of the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU). He was
born on 7 December 1935 at Agbarha-Otor in the Ughelli North local
government area of Delta State. He was elected as the first governor of
Delta state in 1992 and was also elected a senator in 2003. May his soul
rest in peace Amen.

Following reliable information on the presence of some Boko Haram terrorists, troops of 113 Battalion conducted a fighting patrol to Dunga general area on Thursday during which they discovered and destroyed a Boko Haram terrorists’ camp at Alajeri village in Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State.
